An Interview With: Jack Stark – Acoustic, Alive and Anxious


“There were so many things I felt that people had to know. I couldn’t tell someone sincerely because of the social anxiety thing. It’s chronic. It affects just about everything I do in my life.”

Jack Stark is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter from the small town of West Calder. As we meet in The Elephant House against the grey backdrop of Edinburgh’s winter, I can’t help but react in disbelief to his words.

Yellow Movement pioneers Colonel Mustard & The Dijon 5 wow Paisley alongside Declan Welsh

LAST Saturday night saw Colonel Mustard & The Dijon 5 kick off their latest tour in Paisley which will see them take in South Korea and, eh, Cumbernauld. It makes for quite the poster.

We sent our man Jack Thomson down to The Bungalow to catch up with Colonel Mustard’s David Blair, better known as The Dijancer, to see what all the fuss is around Glasgow’s most exciting live act.
